A new Board subcommittee comprised of both Board and non-Board WJC members has recently been created to help address new and emerging issues facing the synagogue with a goal of bringing practical, reasonable and actionable suggestions to the Board so new policies can be agreed upon and established promptly. The Committee is presently comprised of Jeff Steinberg (Board member), Nicole Poliacof (non-Board member), Lisa Leibowitz (non-Board member), David Shapiro (Board member) and Stu Mayer (Board member). The first meeting of this group will take place on Wednesday October 27 and the first topic to be addressed relates to acceptable forms of sponsorships at WJC.
